Since its inception in 1968, the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine has been a prominent leader in dental education, research and patient care. As Connecticut’s only dental school and the only public dental school in New England, the school is recognized nationally and internationally for both its predoctoral and postdoctoral/graduate education programs.

Through its training activities and community-based programs, the school is also the single largest provider of dental services to underserved populations in Connecticut.
