Postdoctoral Students

Mohammed Saiful Islam, B.D.S.

Dr. Islam obtained his B.D.S. from Chittagong Medical College Dental Unit in Bangladesh, and did postdoctoral OMFR training in Hong Kong at the University of Hong Kong. He is part-way through the sixth and final year of a combined program leading to a Clinical Certificate in OMFR and a Ph.D. Degree in Biomedical Sciences. He is conducting his thesis work in the Department of Genetics. Completion of his program is projected for December, 2007.

Jayasanker Valiyaparambil, B.D.S., M.P.H.

Dr. Valiyamparambil received his B.D.S. from Bapuji Dental College and Hospital, Davangere, India and his M.P.H. from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Public Health. He also received a Certificate of Public Health from the NCDHHS Oral Health Section and School of Public Health at UNC. Jay started his combined program leading to a clinical certificate in OMFR and a Master of Dental Science degree in July, 2007.

Aditya Tadinada, B.D.S.

Dr. Tadinada received his B.D.S. from Bangalore Institute of Dental Sciences, Bangalore, India. He then did an internship at the same institution. He conducted a general dental practice at Mahawir Charitable Hospital for two years prior to coming to Connecticut. Aditya started his OMFR Clinical Certificate program in July, 2007, and will start a Master of Dental Science program in January, 2008.

Rodrigo Haristoy, B.D.S., M.H.A.

Dr. Haristoy received his B.D.S. from the University of Concepcion, Concepcion, Chile in 2003. He then did advanced training in OMF Radiology at the University of Valparaiso School of Dentistry, completing his course of study in 2005, and then a Master in Health Administration at the University of Desarrollo School of Dentistry, awarded in 2007. He is in the first year of a combined program leading to a Clinical Certificate in OMF Radiology and a Master of Dental Science degree.
